Earlier this year we published an exclusive market research survey, based on interviews with 500 retail executives in the U.S. and U.K. to discover their views on retail supply chain digitization. The findings of the survey were fascinating and you can check them out by clicking here.
We discovered, for instance, that less than 20 percent of retailers in the U.S. and U.K. have an entirely digitized supply chain. On the other hand, those retailers that have digitized reported significant business benefits as a result of doing so, including increased speed to market, lower cost of operations and enhanced customer experience. The survey made clear that the slow pace of digitization among many retailers is putting them at risk of falling behind and losing market share to their more tech-savvy competitors.
Due to the eye-opening nature of the findings, the survey became a hot topic which generated considerable media interest, being featured in prominent retail and supply chain publications including Sourcing Journal, Retail Wire, Eye For Transport, Supply Chain Dive, Material Handing & Logistics, among others.
If you haven’t downloaded the survey already, you can easily do so by clicking here. The insights of the survey can be used to benchmark the performance of your own retail business, and help you with supply chain optimization. Don’t miss out!
